Fleadh 2010

A series of short film pieces by Liam Allen depicted the artworks and by Mortas An Chabhain Artists for the Fleadh 2010. Here I attempt to describe my work and practice in front of a camera with Joey Burns. I must learn to articulate myself better for camera! Enjoy

And it Begins...

With the help of artist Joe Doherty I managed to cut 15ft timber in to the base of the sculpture.

The sculpture was installed on the Clones Road across from Cavan Institute in June 2010. It was installed as part of Mortas an Chabhain (with another 9 artists) for the opening of the 2010 Fleadh Ceoil Na hEireann. Unfortunately It was vandalised in numerous occasions after the Fleadh and had to be moved from site in April 2011.
